I am always amazed when I see the old dug outs that are still in existence. This one is located on the Shattuck Windmill Museum grounds. These little structures were, often times the homes to large families. When you walk in them you wonder how in the world could a couple raise so many children in there with so little material possessions. Guess they knew something that today many of us have lost - the art of how to dig into being thankful and content with what you have!
